PH 396 Field Experience in Public Health
This course combines a 90-minute onsite seminar per week and supervised internship hours, Students will be engaged in the theory and applied practices of public health in the New York metropolitan region. On a weekly basis, students will attend and participate in the Internship Seminar held on campus, submit Internship Logs highlighting learning activities, and participate in assigned field-based activities. Specialization areas may include reproductive health, substance abuse, and community health education, among others.

Note: Students will not be permitted to conduct their internship experiences within jurisdictions of current or prior employment.
